Hey guys, I'm Brooke! A transplant from New Jersey, I have lived in North Carolina for over five years. As a northern girl, I definitely bring some wit to the south. Growing up in my house, you had to learn to be quick-witted or you were doomed! In the words of my step-dad: “Eh, it builds character.”
I live for conversation and enjoy getting to know people. The fact that I’ve been called “Babbling Brooke” my whole life shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows me. If I do say so myself, I’ve done a fabulous job upholding that title! I also love to keep people laughing. I'm pretty sure I was a comedian in a past life.
I have loved doing hair for as long as I can remember. Having the ability to make people more confident in themselves is really fulfilling to me. I graduated from the Paul Mitchell Academy and wanted to plant my roots in a Paul Mitchell Salon, so RCS was the perfect fit for me.
What are my favorite things to do as a stylist? Ever since my time in hair school, I’ve always treasured the beginning and the end of every appointment, from the color and shampoo to the cut, and last but CERTAINLY not least – the blow dry. There is nothing better than a good scalp massage and having my clients leave the salon feeling completely transformed. Best. Feeling. Ever!
I have a real knack for blowouts, they’re kind of my thing. They've even earned their own name in the salon – “The Brookiepoo Special”. I'm also a product lover who is full of knowledge, so I love the act of creating the perfect product cocktail and haircare regimen for my guests.
When I'm not in the salon, you can find me with my two sweet girls, Aubrianna and Baylynn, and my loving husband. When the weather allows it, we like finding new trails to hike. After my oldest was born I found a love for running and haven’t stopped since. I have two half marathons under my belt and intend to keep up the hard work!
A typical weekend for my family includes exploring downtown for new places to eat, hanging out at a local brewery, or settling in at home for the next big Netflix binge.
